Chadwick Corgi Douglas Dog: A Classic Corgi Companion
Meet Chadwick, a genuine Douglas corgi
Chadwick is a genuine Douglas® corgi plush, and he has everything that makes a corgi instantly recognisable: a long, low body, short sturdy legs and big upright ears that give him that alert, slightly comical corgi look. His coat is russet and white, and gentle airbrushing around his brown eyes softens his face, so he looks calm and thoughtful rather than toy-like.
You can see all of his photos, his current price and his availability on the Chadwick Corgi product page.
How big is Chadwick?
Chadwick measures about 41 cm (16 inches) from nose to tail and weighs about 757 g (26.7 oz). In ESSA UK terms that makes him a Medium companion: big enough to feel like a proper armful, yet still easy to sit on a bed, a sofa or a bookshelf. If you are comparing sizes, our ESSA size guide explains every Douglas plush size side by side, so you can picture him at home before you order.
Why corgi fans love him
- A true corgi shape: the long back and short legs are what make a corgi a corgi, and Chadwick has both.
- An expressive face: soft airbrushed shading around his eyes gives him a friendly, gentle expression.
- Warm colouring: russet and white fur that suits him beautifully and looks lovely on display.
- Soft to hold: a polyester fill keeps him squashy and huggable, whether he lives on a pillow or a desk.
A comfort companion for every day
Many of our customers keep a Douglas plush as their ESSA, a comfort companion they name, take on trips or keep close at home. Chadwick suits that role well, because he is soft, cheerful and sized for a good cuddle. An ESSA is a comfort plush rather than a medical product, and any plush you love can become one. If the idea is new to you, read our guide to what an ESSA is.
Is Chadwick a good gift?
For corgi owners and corgi fans, Chadwick makes a thoughtful present. He is recognisably a corgi at a glance, and his Medium size feels generous without being too big to display. Many people like to give him a name straight away, which is half the fun of welcoming a new companion home.
Looking after Chadwick
Chadwick is surface washable, so gentle surface cleaning is all he needs to keep looking his best. Our Douglas dog care guide explains how to look after a Douglas plush. He is suitable from 24 months.
